Jet cost per hour — real market ranges
by cabin class.
Hourly ranges for light through ultra-long-range — plus what hourly does NOT include.
Best missions: Transcontinental US, Caribbean, and short transatlantic legs where cabin height, full stand-up headroom, and a galley matter. Seats 8–9 with a flat floor and a real lavatory.
What the hourly rate does NOT include.
The hourly figure is the headline — but a binding quote itemizes these lines. Click a card to see where it lands.
If the aircraft must fly empty to your origin or home afterward, ferry time is billed at the hourly rate or quoted as a flat reposition fee.
Flight-hour fuel is inside the rate. Repositioning fuel, de-icing fluid, and outstation uplift are typically itemized separately.
Ramp fees, handling, lounges, and after-hours access at outstations. International handlers (Signature, Jet Aviation, Universal) bill separately.
Airport landing fees, slot fees at constrained fields (TEB, LGA, LCY, NCE in summer), and overnight parking when the aircraft RONs.
Overflight & landing permits, APIS filings, customs user fees, and Trip Security Coordinator support on international legs.
Two pilots, flight-hour fuel, standard catering, cabin stock, lavatories, and basic ground transport are inside the hourly rate.
"We underwrite 200+ charter legs a year. Hourly gets you in the ballpark; the firm quote is the only number that closes. PJ1's three-option format is the only one we forward to the principal without re-cutting."
When to use hourly vs. a trip quote.
Hourly is a planning benchmark. A trip quote is the number you sign. Use each one for what it's built for.
